Year 6 English

Try to read a little every day. You can use the Oxford Owls website for e-books or read books you may have at home. Alternatively, you can read a newspaper, comic, instructions for a game or a recipe. Aim for 20- 30 minutes per day.

If you would like to continue reading Wonder, but you do not have the book, you can access it for free here. We got to the chapter 'Lunch' which is on page 49 in the book and page 42 if you use the link.

Year 6 will not be completing writing tasks next week, as they will be completing activities to remember their time at Cononley.

Note to parents:

There are guidelines provided for the amount of time to spend on each activity. However, these may not be suitable for your child. Please adjust the timings to suit your child.

If you are struggling to complete all of these tasks, please focus on reading and spelling.
