Home Learning 2020 2021

At Cononley Primary School, we use Purple Mash, an on-line learning website, to provide home learning if your child is well but unable to attend school. We have chosen to use Purple Mash because children use Purple Mash regularly in school and are familiar with the web-site. Purple Mash is a safe, secure platform for learning; the games and activities on the site are suitable for primary school children and all blog comments must be approved by the class teacher before they are posted.

Teachers will provide lesson resources (including videos) on Purple Mash and children will be able to upload their completed work so that teachers can provide feedback. We recognise that children do not always learn well if they are using an electronic device all the time, so where possible, we will provide work books or work packs as well. As far as possible, the lessons will match the lessons which would be taking place in school.

If your child's class is required to isolate at home, details about home-learning will be accessed on  Purple Mash blogs. Your child's class teacher will keep in regular contact by phone or email and the Purple Mash blog. If your child has lost their Purple Mash password, please contact the class teacher. Here is a guide to help you to access Purple Mash blogs:
