Ongoing Activities to promote Social Development 

Electing House Captains and School Council Representatives. 

Volunteering for Climate Change Group. 

School Council - weekly meetings 

Sports' Leaders - daily activities at lunchtime for pupils; Spirit Award

House Captains - lead inter-house competitions

Clubs - lunchtime and after school clubs

Fairtrade Committee - take part in meetings each term; working to maintain FairAchiever Award

Climate Change Group -10 Step Action Plan to enable school to become more sustainable -weekly meetings.

Healthy Schools Rating Scheme. 

Co-operative Learning - whole school system to develop ability to work together co-operatively.

British Parliament Week

Respect in Football Workshops

Collective Acts of Worship: celebrating Black History Month; Remembrance Day; 

Cluster Sports Events: cross country – KS2 ; football tournaments – KS2;

Supporting Charities: Harvest collection for Skipton Food Bank;  Children in Need; gifts for Dementia Ward at Airedale Hopspital

Bikeability – Year 6

Railway Safety Assembly

Road Safety and Firework Safety talk from PCSO. 

FoCS events: Hallowe'en Cake Sale; Family Bingo Evening; Christmas Fair
